On June 6, 2024, GDLab, the Gender and Diversity Knowledge Initiative of the IDB Group, organized an academic workshop presenting results from studies funded through its calls for proposals on gender-based violence and labor market inclusion. This video features the keynote sessions from the seminar. In the first part, Professor Amber Peterman (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) presents a review of the state of the art on gender-based violence and the contribution of studies funded by GDLab to this literature. In the second part, Professor Jeanne Lafortune (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) provides a synthesis of the state of the art on women's labor market inclusion and summarizes the contribution of studies supported by the initiative in this area.
